Winter has hit in Oklahoma! For many kiddos, this means no school, hot cocoa, building snowmen, and sledding down the biggest hills you can find! For other families, this means keeping warm and finding fun indoor activities. Either way, we've got you covered!
Local group Tulsa Moms was kind enough the curate this list of great sledding sites around town. *Please use caution when selecting a sledding location, and make sure you are in an area away from traffic, trees, or other dangers.*
At our Emerald Falls community in Broken Arrow, the Goodale family got creative with this year's snow: Using a golf cart to pull their son, Asher, through their winter wonderland!
Meanwhile, some younger babies were not so sure what to think of the cold! Capital Homes employee Allison Beasley took 9 month old Alexander outside for his first snow, but he wasn't impressed.
We asked local parents where their favorite indoor places are to take the little ones to have fun while staying warm & dry. Here were their recommendations:
1. Discovery Lab (new!)
2, Oklahoma Aquarium
3. Gilcrease Museum
4. Sky Zone Trampoline Park
5. Philbrook Museum
6. Fun4Kids Indoor Playground
7. Pet store to look at fish, lizards, birds, and other small animals.
8. Wheels & Thrills Family Entertainment
9. Main Event
10. Cinergy Entertainment
11. Tulsa Air & Space Museum
12. Lolli & Pops
